Nazi regime historian von Klemperer dies in Mass.

Klemens Wilhelm von Klemperer, a German refugee who wrote extensively about the rise and fall of the Nazi regime, has died in Massachusetts. He was 96. Von Klemperer was an emeritus professor of history at Smith College in Northampton. His Dec. 23 death of natural causes at his home in Easthampton was confirmed Monday by his son, James von Klemperer.
