Man allegedly stabs stepson over dog

A Schuylerville man was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a stabbing during a domestic argument Sunday afternoon, state police said. William J. Urban, 47, was arguing over a pet dog with his 27-year-old stepson when police said he attacked the younger man, stabbing him in the back. Police said the injuries were minor. Urban was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
