Boys' sectional basketball: CBA pulls away in second half

Guilderland battled to a halftime tie, but Christian Brothers Acad-emy pulled away to a 55-41 Section II Class AA quarterfinal victory at Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday. The four-time defending champion Brothers were led by Greig Stire with 11 points and Tyrell Ramsey with 10. Stire also grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double.
