Steinem lecture at Skidmore sold out; will be simulcast in auditorium

SARATOGA SPRINGS Tonight's lecture by noted feminist Gloria Steinem in the Arthur Zankel Music Center at Skidmore College is sold out. However, the event will be simulcast in the school's Gannett Auditorium starting at 7 p.m. A book signing in the Zankel lobby will be open to all immediately following her lecture, the school announced.
Steinem was recognized as a spokeswoman for the women's liberation movement in the 1960s and 1970s. She is a co-founder of Ms. magazine and the Women's Media Center.
