Alplaus Avenue closed today

ALPLAUS — Alplaus Avenue will be closed today because of work at the railroad crossing.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured north on Maple Avenue, east on Glenridge Road and south on Balltown Road. Westbound traffic will go north on Balltown Road, west on Glenridge Road and south on Maple Avenue.

The road will reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.
