ALBANY — Hollis Seamon, English professor at the College of Saint Rose, has a new book on the shelves titled “Corporeality.”

The collection of stories introduces readers to the cat lady, a professor dealing with a plagiarist while coping with personal hardships, a sibling rivalry, and a dog that goes beyond everyday dog duties to protect its owners.

Seamon is also the author of “Body Work” and the mystery novel “Flesh.” She has been a member of the Saint Rose faculty since 1986, teaching writing and literature. She recently helped launch the college’s new master of fine arts in creative writing degree.

“Corporeality” is published by Able Muse Press, and is available in paperback from Able Muse, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Blackwood & Brouwer Booksellers in Kinderhook. There is also a version for download for Kindle and Nook.
