Stanford, Macon power Patriots, 76-52

Clarence Stanford scored 20 points and Darius Macon turned in a triple-double as Schenectady beat Amsterdam, 76-52, in Big 10 boys’ play Tuesday night.

The Patriots got 12 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocks from Macon. Randall Symes added 13 points. The Rams got 12 points from Zach Dufel.

Troy got 20 points from Dyaire Holt in an 82-50 win over Albany. Jerrell Reid added 19 points and Siena-bound Javion Ogunyemi 18 in the win.

LaSalle beat Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons, 69-46, with 22 points from Elijah Burns and 20 from Ralph Erickson. Gabriel Smith added 11 points.

Catholic Central topped Bishop Maginn, 60-55, with 19 points from Anthony Mack. Raiquis Harris added 12 points, and both Brian Brooks and Jiriem Tedders scored 10.

Guilderland outscored Colonie, 20-13, in the final quarter to win its Suburban Council game, 62-57. The Dutchmen got 22 points from Brian Crupi and 18 from Vincent Simeone.

Colonie was led by Jake Samuels with 22 points.

Mohonasen edged Averill Park, 47-45, with 18 points from Grant Massaroni and 14 from Donye Walker.

Shaker’s Dave Morrison scored 14 points, and both Andrew Holmes and Chris Landers added 11 as the Blue Bison improved to 14-2, 16-2 with a 61-55 win over Niskayuna.

The Silver Warriors got 16 points from Brent Oliver.

Drew Zlogar finished with 18 points, and Dylan Molloy scored 17 as Shenendehowa beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 67-45. Ted McCarthy added 12 points for the Plainsmen.

The Spartans were led by Robert Knightes with 21 points,.

Jeremy Mendrick’s 13 points led Ballston Spa to a 51-41 win over Saratoga Springs.

In the Colonial Council, Lansingburgh beat Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 62-48, with 17 points from Malik Miller and 16 from Dante Carr. Darnell Sutton added 10 points for the Knights (9-4, 11-7), and Joe Kennedy had 10.

Ravena (11-4, 12-6) was led by Desmond Williams with 20 points and Dave Warnken with 10.

The loss knocks Ravena from a first-place tie with Cohoes, which got 25 points from Elijah Newsome to beat Fonda-Fultonville, 50-38.

Ty’Jon Gilmore hit a free throw with 18 seconds left to give Water­vliet it’s late two-point lead in a 53-51 win over Schalmont.

Tyler McLeod finished with 20 points for 10-3, 10-8 Watervliet, and Shane Ray added 10 points.

The Sabres (6-7, 8-10) got 15 points from Dom Caputo and 11 from Lucas Curtin.

Voorheesville got 12 points from Zach Precious, and both Nico Church and Logan Hotaling scored 10 in a 50-38 win over Cobleskill-Richmondville.

In a Western Athletic Conference WAC Cup semifinal, Mekeel Christian Academy beat Fort Plain, 77-33, with 27 points from Caleb Stewart. The 15-2 Lions have won 15 straight contests.

In the Central Hudson Valley League, Loudonville Christian School beat Doane Stuart, 54-38, with 20 points from Gabe Brown.

In a non-league Adirondack League crossover, Hartford beat Corinth in overtime, 63-56. Tad Jones scored 25 points in the win.

The Tomahawks were led by Blake Basmajian with 19 points and Zac Shippee with 17.
