— Colonie High School graduate Tehresa Coles blocked Nicole Isaacs’ attempt at a game-tying three-pointer as time expired to give Siena a 54-51 victory over Manhattan Friday in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game at Draddy Gymnasium.

Senior captain Lily Grenci posted her seventh double-double of the season for the Saints (9-13, 5-6 MAAC), finishing with 14 points and 14 rebounds as Siena beat the Jaspers for the fourth straight time.

Siena had a 10-point lead early in the second half, but Manhattan (6-16, 3-8) battled back, helped by 27 Saints’ turnovers.

The Jaspers took their first lead of the second half, 51-50, on a free throw by Shayna Ericksen with 1:21 to play, but Kate Zznotney and Ida Krogh each made two free throws down the stretch to give Siena the victory.
