SARATOGA SPRINGS Saratoga Hospital has lifted the visitor restrictions that were adopted last month, when the flu was at its peak.
The hospital's decision reflects the recent decrease in flu cases in the community and in influenza-related hospitalizations, according to a statement released today from the hospital on Church Street in Saratoga Springs.
Restrictions could be reinstated, however, if a second wave of flu strikes the region. In addition, the hospital continues its standard practice of discouraging visits from those who are sick, the statement says.
