High schools: Eagles win fourth straight

Stephanie Rice scored 21 points, and Duanesburg beat Northville for its fourth straight win, 50-36, in a Western Athletic Conference crossover game Wednesday night.

Maddy Kenyon dropped in 16 points for the Eagles (12-4). Lyndsey Wadsworth paced the Falcons with 15.

Lauren Balfe notched 12 points, and Canajoharie rallied in the second half to beat Middleburgh, 41-37, in another WAC crossover.

Dainara Veeder had nine points for the Cougars. Amanda Roney led the Knights with 15, and Taylor Cater added 10.

St. Johnsville got 14 points and eight steals from Rylie Smith, and 12 points and 16 rebounds from Samantha Cleveland, in a 40-25 triumph over Sharon Springs.

The Hoosick Falls boys used an 18-9 second-quarter run to gain the upper hand in a 49-45 Wasaren League win over Stillwater.

Evan Phillips topped Hoosick Falls with 14 points. John Hoin scored 12 for Stillwater, and Shawn McNeil had 10.

Justin Carruthers delivered 23 points, Cori Winch scored 14 and Greg Scott had 10 as Greenwich defeated Granville, 62-41.

John Rooney clicked for 19 points, and Hoosic Valley limited Cambridge to two in the opening quarter as part of a 56-40 win.

Christian Hodson scored 14 points and Josh Hall notched 13 as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk overcame a slow start to beat Greenville, 66-41, in a non-league game.

Marcus Jackson led three double-digit Albany Academy scorers with 13 points, and the Cadets beat Watervliet, 61-55.

Darrien White scored 12 points and Ray Jerome had 10 for the

Cadets (12-3). Academy turned the tables with a 19-8 second-quarter spurt. Tyler McLeod scored 19 for the Cannoneers.
