Schenectady man accused of breaking into home of ex-girlfriend

A local man has been charged with breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s residence and refusing to leave, authorities said. Rodney M. Murphy, 44, no address given, broke into the Plymouth Avenue home early Monday morning, according to papers filed in court. Murphy is also accused of doing so in violation of an order of protection issued in April.
