— City police are searching for a pair of men who they say tried to steal bags of DVDs from Walmart on Sunday.

Workers at the store stopped one of the men inside the store with a bag of DVDs. Another employee stopped the second man outside the store, grabbing the bag he was holding and causing it to spill the DVDs.

Through surveillance footage from Walmart, it was learned that the two men arrived in a tan Chevy Blazer, then fled the scene in the same vehicle, police said. Police are requesting assistance in identifying the two suspects as well as their vehicle.

Contact Detective Sgt. Mike Jory at 773-4569 or the Police Department at 773-4506 with any information.
