Edward Shaw had Christmas spirit. The Huron Street resident also had access to a horse, sleigh and a Santa Claus outfit. Shaw put them all together on Christmas Eve in 1947, and entertained people in his neighborhood. Any children peering out windows probably rushed to their bedrooms and dove under the blankets, truly convinced St. Nick was ready for local chimney descents.
