Man accused of stealing tools, Jeep in Rotterdam Junction
ROTTERDAM A Schenectady man has been charged with breaking into a Rotterdam Junction home six months ago, taking tools and making off with the victim's Jeep.
The Jeep was later found on Albany Street in Schenectady and evidence from the burglary scene eventually led investigators to Michael F. Pino, police said. Pino, 34, of 525 Lang St., now faces one count each of third-degree burglary, third- and fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief, all felonies.
Pino is accused of breaking into the home June 9 and taking tools valued at more than $2,000, then using the Jeep to take them from the scene, police said.
Pino was arraigned and ordered held without bail.
