Man stabbed in neck in Schenectady motel

A man staying at the Imperial Motel was stabbed in the neck Monday night, Schenectady police said. The man was badly injured, police spokesman Sgt. Matthew Dearing said. He wasn’t sure if the victim would survive. “It’s tough to tell,” he said. “He was stable enough for them to take him to Albany Med.” Police were called to the motel at 9:08 p.m. The victim gave a limited description of his attacker, Dearing said.
