Patrons at Rexford Stewart's hold alleged robber for police

Store patrons restrained a fleeing robber Sunday afternoon after he forcibly emptied the cash register at a Stewart’s Shop in Rexford, police say. Around 2:30 p.m., Grover Dake, 31, of Corinth entered the 923 Riverview Road Stewart’s Shop and demanded money. When one of the employees tried to stop him, he allegedly pushed the employee out of the way and emptied the register. If someone named Golub held up a Price Chopper store, my first question as a reporter would be: "Is he related to the owners?" When a guy named Dake tries to hold up a Stewarts, we need to know if he's related to the family that owns the chain. If he isn't, so be it. We still need to know. And if he is, then you missed the real story.
