Montgomery County’s town and city ward supervisors plan to use their final days in power to lower the tax burden on county residents. In a budget meeting Tuesday night, the Board of Supervisors voted to pull an extra $1.5 million from county savings to lower next year’s tax levy roughly 3.4 percent.
