Second man charged in connection with murder near Schenectady school

SCHENECTADY Schenectady Police have made a second arrest in connection with the Nov. 12 shooting death of William Riddick of Albany, who was gunned down during a vehicle chase in Schenectady’s Mont Pleasant neighborhood Nov. 12.
Detectives arrested and charged Gilbert L. Williams, 20, of Schenectady, with second-degree murder.
Williams is currently being held in the city jail and will be arraigned some time today in city court.
Earlier this week, city police accused a parole violator already in custody on a drug charge of being involved with the crime.
Nicholas M. Khan, 20, is awaiting an appearance in City Court, during which he’ll be formally charged with felony second-degree murder.
