Massry Residence adds Van Dyke as activities director
ALBANY — Courtney Van Dyke has been appointed director of activities for The Massry Residence, the assisted-living residence at Daughters of Sarah Senior Community.
Van Dyke comes to The Massry Residence with a master’s degree in health administration and six years working in long-term care.
Van Dyke brings not only her expertise in long-term care to her new job, but her skills as a professional impersonator, as well. She appears regionally as Patsy Cline and has serenaded Massry residents.
She lives in Delmar and is planning a March wedding.
3tarchitects adds Joshi as intern
ALBANY — 3tarchitects has announced the addition of Bhawya Joshi as intern architect.
Joshi comes to 3t from India and with five years of experience.
Joshi will work with the architects at 3t to provide technical drawings and general graphic support. Previous to joining 3t, Joshi was an architect at two firms in Noida, India, and an intern at a New Delhi firm.
Joshi graduated from the Dehradun Institute of Technology in India with a bachelor’s degree in architecture in 2010 and earned her master’s in architecture in May at RPI. Joshi earned her license in architecture in 2011 from the India Government’s Council of Architecture.
Born in central India, Joshi came to the United States in 2012. She currently lives in Menands.
Nettleton joins S&B Staffing
ALBANY — S&B Staffing has added Melissa Nettleton as staffing supervisor for permanent and temporary job placement at the company.
In her new role, Nettleton will work with candidates and clients throughout the Capital Region to assist companies in the hiring of new staff.
She most recently worked for Bright Horizons Family Solutions as a regional manager, where she was involved in the recruiting, sales and staffing of the facilities. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.
Subsidium adds Knight to staff
CLIFTON PARK — Subsidium Technologies Inc., a provider of communication network solutions for businesses across a variety of sectors, has welcomed John C. Knight as senior account consultant of data services.
Knight incorporates his years of industry expertise in voice, data, video and network design into his new role as senior account manager and brings more than 16 years of experience to Subsidium.
The Burnt Hills resident attended Hudson Valley Community College and studied civil engineering. He went on to spend four year as a combat engineer for the U.S. Army before joining Windstream Communications, where he built and designed networks for customers.
