SYRACUSE — Erin Simon scored three times to lift Syracuse over the University at Albany, 4-0, in a women’s soccer match Friday night at SU Soccer Stadium.

Stephanie Skilton also scored for the 2-1 Orange. Goalie Brittany Anghel made one save to preserve the shutout.

Dani Britt stopped three shots for the 1-2 Great Danes.

EWING, N.J. — Junior midfielder Taylor Korytko scored two goals on three shots to pace the Engineers over Stevens Institute of Technology in The College of New Jersey Classic.

Cori Winslow, Sara Rothschild and Giana Abballe also scored for RPI. Gabby Matheller notched a first-half goal for Stevens Tech.

FARMINGDALE — Erin Barry scored from 30 yards out to help the Thoroughbreds earn a tie with Buffalo State in the first round of the Farmingdale State tournament.

Gab Lawrence and Madison Plummer combined to make eight stops for the Thoroughbreds, who face host Farmingdale this morning at 10.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Six different players scored, led by Liza Morgan’s hat trick, and freshman goalie Maxi Primus recorded a shutout in her first varsity start as the Great Danes opened with a win.

Corrine McConville, Paula Heuser, Daphine Voormolen, Fiori Van Rijswijk and Molly Mariano also notched goals for the Great Danes, who held a 27-1 advantage in shots.
