'Sam the Bugler' accused of drunken driving

The man affectionately known at Saratoga Race Course as Sam the Bugler was missing from the biggest day of the summer meet following an early Saturday morning arrest on drunken-driving charges. Saratoga Springs police stopped Samuel L. Grossman, 48, of Suffolk County, around 1:30 a.m. on Ballston Avenue, according to police.
