Two points, I always had a rental certificate and the person who inspected my property was a fair inspector, he pointed out an issue that I was not aware of but I wanted to take care of. I fixed it that day and he came back and gave me my certificate. My second point is that when I went to city hall to pay my certificate fee it was a terrible experience, they were rude and condescending to me.

I agree..follow the law slacker landlords..and the workers at city hall better change their attitude and treat people with respect when law abiding landlords come in to pay the certifcate fee...there is no excuse for bad behavior by city employees..
