A former employee of Saratoga Saddlery is accused of stealing more than $35,000 from the downtown store. Yvette Giovanni of Route 32 South, Schuylerville, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records and first-degree scheme to defraud, all felonies. She was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $100,000 bail bond. Saratoga Springs police say Giovanni stole the money while she worked at the store on Broadway.
