Drohan scores seven in Schenectady lacrosse win

Marjorie Drohan struck for seven goals, and Kristen St. Andrews backed her up with six goals and three assists to spark Schenec­tady to a 21-9 victory over Hoosick Falls in a Capital District Women’s Lacrosse League match Thursday.

Samantha Suriano contributed three goals and four assists for the Patriots, who also got two goals apiece from Dahneaqah Henderson and Breona Richmond.

Bri Sacks and Pat Sexton each collected four goals, and Sexton also registered three assists as Niskayuna beat Columbia, 10-13, in the Suburban Council.

The Silver Warriors improved to 5-2. Shannon Ryan’s four goals led 3-2 Columbia.

Nicole Beardsley and Mackenzie Levan each had two goals to propel Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake over Averill Park, 10-9.

Morgan Lionarons and Caitlin O’Shea scored four goals and three goals, respectively, for Averill Park.

Hannah Wise registered four goals and two assists, and Ann Mahoney set up five goals to go along with two scores of her own to pace Saratoga Springs past Col­onie, 18-7.

Molly Kern and Lizzie DeLor­enzo also scored twice apiece for the Blue Streaks (3-4, 4-4). Katie Higgins put in three goals for the Garnet Raiders.

Kelly Wall produced seven goals as Shenendehowa bounced Beth­lehem, 12-7.

Kristen Connors added three goals for the Lady Plainsmen. Kaylee Rickert had four goals for Bethlehem.

In a non-league game, Holy Names Academy got three goals each from Sally O’Toole and Sarah Hummel to beat Greenwich, 11-9.

Kassie Purcell and Aubrey Thomas fired in four goals apiece to power Ballston Spa over South Glens Falls, 16-6.

Boys

SHAKER STILL UNBEATEN

Liam King connected four times, and Nick Dodd added three goals and an assist to lift unbeaten Shaker over Guilderland, 12-6, in a Suburban Council match.

Jake Smith’s three goals and two assists led the Dutchmen.

Lucas Maloney recorded four goals and four assists, Luke Goldstock contributed four goals and three assists, and Mike D’Amario notched four goals and an assist to propel Niskayuna over Columbia, 18-7.

Peter Herrick scored three times, and Nicholas Barone made 20 saves for the Blue Devils.

Joe Romano fired in four goals as Shenendehowa crushed Beth­lehem, 13-2.

The Plainsmen opened up with a 7-0 first-quarter lead and kept the pressure on the whole way. Brian Rogers, Pat Coll and Kyle Marr contributed two goals each for the Plainsmen.

Noah Arciero’s three goals helped Saratoga Springs edge Colonie, 9-7, in another Suburban match.

Joe Mineau scored three times for Colonie.

Nick McCloskey fired in six goals to go along with three assists, and Connor Flaherty produced two goals and seven assists to power Scotia-Glenville over Johnstown, 16-3, in a Foothills Council match.

Zach Tripoli contributed four goals for the 5-1 Tartans.

Ben Bayly (three), Shay Curtis (two) and Aaron Hansbury (two) combined for seen goals to lead Lansingburgh past Greenwich, 11-7, in a Wasaren League game.

In a non-league match, Tom Ken­eally, Will Clark and Austin Clark found the net three times each as Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (3-3) topped Queensbury, 9-6.

Ryan Conway had two goals for 6-1 Queensbury.
