Poughkeepsie man charged in Guilderland diamond theft

A Poughkeepsie man was accused Tuesday of stealing a diamond from the Northeastern Fine Jewelry store on Western Avenue in Guilderland earlier in the day. Guilderland police said in a news release that Jonathan Higgs, 43, entered the store and had a clerk show him a diamond.
