Elderly driver ticketed in Niskayuna pedestrian death

The 88-year-old driver who struck and killed a fellow parishioner after Good Friday services last month has been issued two traffic tickets. Maria Rubonis of Niskayuna was charged by Niskayuna police with failure to use due care related to a pedestrian and failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
