Spartans battle back for 9-8 OT lacrosse win

Freshman Will Clark scored his fourth goal with 2:20 left in the second overtime as Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake edged Columbia, 9-8, in a Suburban Council lacrosse game Tuesday. The Spartans rallied from 6-1 and 7-3 deficits to take an 8-7 lead on Tom Kenneally’s goal. Columbia’s Brendan Pursel sent the game into overtime on a goal with nine seconds left. The victory left Burnt Hills coach Tom Schwan two shy of 200 for his career. ...
