Moreau man accused of trying to sell assault rifle on Facebook

State police say they caught a Moreau man in the process of selling an assault weapon after he advertised it for sale on Facebook. An investigation into the alleged sale began when state police received a tip through the state’s new gun tip line that 51-year-old William G. The law went in to effect when? The original offer for sale was when? The Rats came out when? The cops were right on it like white on rice so the headlines were in their favor rather than burglary and rape still unsolved after 6 months.
