Attempted murder charge leveled against Albany man

An Albany man has been arrested in connection with a Monday afternoon shooting that left two people injured, police said. Angel Rivera, 37, faces two counts of second-degree attempted murder, accused of shooting the two in the 300 block of Central Avenue. A 35-year-old woman from Albany suffered a gunshot wound to her foot, the other victim, a 23-year-old man from Albany, suffered a gunshot wound to his left hip, police said.
