I-890 interchange reopens

The Interstate 890 interchange at Curry Road was closed for more than an hour this morning after an accident in which a car hit a power pole. As of 10 a.m., wires were down and the interchange was briefly closed. The roadway was re-opened by 11 a.m. The wires fell near 2696 Curry Road. Police and the Carman Fire Department responded to the scene.
