Thruway Authority to cut 210 jobs

The New York State Thruway Authority is laying off about 210 employees effective today. The CSEA union said in a news release that the authority has been mismanaged and filled with patronage jobs and claimed that only unionized employees are being terminated. This is long,long overdue! E-Z pass had to have (and will continue) a major impact. The Thruway was built and established to be toll free by the year 2000.

How many big shots got let go? I bet is none. Cut the non civil service patronage jobs first. Cut some from the top and stop blaming gross mismanagment on the people at the bottom.
