Glenville eyes loan program for small businesses

Small businesses in Glenville may soon be able to apply for loans through the town’s Local Development Corporation. Supervisor Chris Koetzle said he anticipated that lending would begin this summer. The LDC was formed last June to allow the town to reuse $565,000 in grant funding from the Community Development Block Grant Small Cities program. "You see new signs" If you have a magnifying glass - or do you mean the oversised sign on the Socha Plaza property that was put there BEFORE the building was improved?? You know the one with the picture of the new building...He must have been pretty sure of himself.

Please allow small businesses to put larger more visible signs so there business can thrive and not become the casualty of the ridiculous rules that the Town of Glenville implements. We needed a bakery in Glenville - now that is gone - Support small business but make it known they are there!!
