1.5 million rode Schenectady-Albany rapid transit buses in 2012

More than 1.5 million riders boarded the rapid transit bus to travel between Schenectady and Albany on Route 5 last year, according to the Capital District Transportation Authority. BusPlus celebrates its second anniversary this month by becoming the "most popular route in our system," said CDTA chairwoman Denise Figueroa.
