Suspect apprehended in 2 Troy bank robberies

— Troy police on Monday evening arrested a man they believe is connected to two city bank robberies.

Zachary Zeoli, of Troy, was arrested in Menands and taken into custody. He was charged with two counts of robbery, third degree, and a bench warrant for a prior offense. He is scheduled to appear at 8:30 a.m. today in Troy City Court.

Zeoli is believed to have carried out robberies at the First Niagara Bank at 820 2nd Ave. on March 27 and at the M & T Bank at 455 Hoosick St. on March 29.
