Lawsuit: Groups mishandled loan; Gloversville wants money

Gloversville filed a lawsuit Thursday in the hopes of recovering $750,000 from any of three county economic development entities. The complaint, filed in state Supreme Court in Fulton County by City Attorney Anthony Casale, names sister agencies Fulton County Economic Development Corp. and Crossroads Incubator Corp., along with their recently formed parent organization, the Fulton County Center for Regional Growth. Hooray for Mayor King! Maybe the unjust enrichment of the former EDC/CIC staff, the insider board members & the taxpayers of the City of Johnstown at the expense of the taxpayers of the City of Gloversville will finally end. And a little note to Attorney Casale: if the resident Supreme Court Justice is assigned this case, you'd better make a recusal request based on conflicts of interest ASAP.
