Police seek help in Elm Street killing

SCHENECTADY — The Schenectady Police Department is asking for information regarding a man shot to death on Elm Street Sunday.
Justin Coleman, 47, died as a result of gunfire just after 2:30 a.m. Officers found him fatally injured outside his 63 Elm St. apartment.
Police on Wednesday released a picture of a white Mitsubishi Montero Sport SUV, which Coleman was driving the night of the incident. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots that night. Coleman was described as a nice, quiet man who was a disc jockey and worked late.
If anyone saw the vehicle, was with the victim the night of the incident or has any information regarding the incident, they are asked to contact the Schenectady Police Department's Detective Division at 382-5245.
