Field hockey: Johnstown over Scotia-Glenville
Ashley Dona recorded a hat trick, and Hope Cerasuolo tacked on two more goals as Johnstown blitzed Scotia-Glenville, 8-0, in the Foothills Council.
Carissa O’Brien, Alexis Swatt and Emma Heroth also scored for the Lady Bills, and Alyssa Pertell made two saves.
For the Tartans, Vanessa Walker stopped 13 shots.
Maddie Nelson and Beth Yarze scored goals, and Courtney Jenkins and Christie Raymond picked up assists in Queensbury’s 2-1 win over Glens Falls.
Christina Galatioto made four saves for the 4-1, 5-1 Spartans.
For 2-6 Glens Falls, Olvia Southworth scored the goal, and keeper Haylee Mello made one save.
Zoe McGuire picked up the shutout in goal with four saves as Emma Willard blanked Ichabod Crane, 1-0, in a Patroon Conference match.
Annika Wells and Francesca Gundrum scored first-half goals for the Jesters (4-0, 5-2).
