Man killed in Schenectady stabbing

City police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man outside his home on Elm Street early Saturday morning. Officers responded at 2:38 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive man at 65 Elm St., just off State Street, according to a news release. The victim was found outside of the house and was treated by Schenectady Fire Department paramedics. He was transported to Ellis Hospital, but police said he died shortly after arrival.
