Gloversville police seek public's help in assault and robbery

— A woman was robbed Sept. 4 on the Rail Trail by two people whom police are seeking assistance in identifying.

The woman said two people approached her from behind, punched her and second grabbed her hair. She said they took money and cigarettes before running off.

Police said the assault occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on the Rail Trail between West Pine Street and West Fulton Street. They are seeking help in identifying people recorded by a surveillance camera from the Animal Shelter.
