Plainsmen pin first girls' soccer loss on Eagles
Meghan Merritt and Sophia DiNinni scored the goals as Shenendehowa bested Bethlehem, 2-0, Wednesday in a rematch of last season’s Class AA girls’ soccer final.
Shenendehowa, 4-1-1, dominated play, forcing Bethlehem goalkeeper Katie Nickles to make 15 saves.

Cara Waterson had two goals and an assist as Albany topped Schenectady, 4-0, in a Big 10 game. Mollie Kather added a goal and assist, and Hannah Moran had the other goal for the Lady Falcons.
