Several hundred homes still without power in region

— Serveral hundred homes are still without power in the Capital Region in the wake of Tuesday's high winds and heavy rain.

About 250 customers are without power in the Westmere section of Albany County near the southern end of the Adirondack Northway. Power restoration is expected at about 10:30 a.m., according to National Grid.

Another 67 customers are without power in Guilderland Center.

In Warren County, the Bolton Landing area was hit hard by the storm, and a few hundred customers are without power at this time. Several hundred more are without power in the Schroon Lake area.

In Saratoga County, about 100 customers have no electricity in the Hadley area and another 50 customers lack power in Greenfield.

The storm knocked out power to parts of Clifton Park, Ballston Spa, Niskayuna and other areas on Tuesday night. Most areas had power restored within a few hours.
