Girls volleyball: Lady Bills win
Annie Stock had seven kills, and Zara Hyde and Jerica Holland had a combined 20 assists as Johnstown defeated Lake George, 25-14, 25-14, 25-17, in a non-league match.
Alyssa Nellis contributed four kills and six digs to the Lady Bills’ victory.
Cory Lair had 20 service points, eight aces and four kills as Fonda-Fultonville beat Amsterdam in four games, 25-19, 12-25, 25-21, 25-13.
Miranda Nethaway had four blocks and seven kills at the net for the Lady Bills.
Bayley Archinal had five kills and five blocks for Amsterdam.
Alex Lefebvre served nine aces to go along with 10 kills and six digs, leading Waterford-Halfmoon past Hawthorne Valley, 25-3, 25-6, 25-5, in the Central Hudson Valley League.
Emily Jones contributed another 12 points, and had 21 assists for the 2-0, 3-0 Fordians, who also had Kristine Kodadar serve for 20 points.
