Rams score late TDs, 34-26
Geo Rodriguez and Brett Stanavich had long touchdown runs in the fourth quarter Saturday as Amsterdam beat Queensbury, 34-26, in a Class A Northwest Division football game.
After a Tim Voorhis touchdown gave Queensbury a 26-20 lead early in the fourth quarter, Rodriguez gave the Rams the lead for good. Stanavich’s run sealed the Rams’ second win of the season in the division opener for both teams.
Stanavich finished with three touchdowns, and Rodriguez scored Amsterdam’s other TDs.
Kody Bruno had three touchdowns for the Spartans.
