Power Pallet asks Montgomery County for loan forgiveness totaling $309K

Power Pallet Recycling Center is asking the Montgomery County Industrial Development Agency to forgive a $309,000 loan balance because it hit specific job-creation targets. IDA Executive Director Ken Rose said the IDA board will discuss the company’s request Thursday. “The board will make a recommendation to the full Board of Supervisors. No surprise that Power Pallet is owned by a Republican,They always want the taxpayers to give them a free ride for doing half of what they promised.

So the company did what they promised ... is that any reason to give them a free pass on their loan? How many of us have done what we said we'd do on our loans, our mortgages ... do we get forgiveness?

Now if the company goes way over and beyond ... well then MAYBE consider something, but not for simply meeting the conditions. Right now, they've not even fulfilled their promises.
