SANDY: Tappan Zee Bridge closing at 4 p.m.

State officials announced they will close down the Tappan Zee Bridge to all traffic at 4 p.m. due to weather conditions from Hurricane Sandy. An immediate ban was issued for all trucks, buses, and motorcycle traffic on the bridge. Although the bridge structure is safe, it will remain closed until conditions allow for safe traffic again.
