Sch'dy man gets prison term in check scheme

A man with a long history of defrauding others was sentenced Monday in Schenectady County Court to up to 71⁄2 years in state prison for a bad check scheme connected to his business. Edward C. Cuomo, 50, of Brandywine Avenue, Schenectady, was sentenced to a total of 21⁄2 to 71⁄2 years in state prison after pleading guilty earlier to two counts of third-degree grand larceny, a felony. This is the crap that gives the HONEST Steak and Seafood door to door companies a bad name. My daughter has worked as a legitimate sales person, steak and seafood for 8+ years. Here in NY,New England,CA,NV and HI. And many times she has been told that other companies ripped customers off. Its a shame these idiots have to ruin it for everyone else.
