Police: Man used knife in noontime robbery attempt

A Schenectady man has been arrested for allegedly trying to rob a Getty gas station on Sunday. At about noon, Kevin S. Allen, 44, of 926 Cleveland Ave., allegedly entered the gas station at 3060 Broadway with a knife in his hand and demanded money from the clerk.
