Restored WWII planes to make stops in Glenville, Queensbury

Three World War II airplanes are scheduled to make stops at a pair of eastern New York airports as part of a Massachusetts-based aviation history group’s Wings of Freedom Tour. A B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator and a P-51 Mustang are scheduled to leave Rutland, Vt., today and make the short flight to Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport outside Glens Falls, where they’ll be available for tours and flights into Friday.
