Schenectady councilwoman progressing after sudden illness

Councilwoman Barbara Blanchard is improving after being suddenly stricken early last month. She is in intensive speech and physical therapy, and is still working to put together full sentences. But she has made steady improvement, her husband, Art Edelstein, said. He said the sudden illness was unrelated to her progressive neurological illness. Although I have always been critical of Barb I have always been extremely fond of her and my prayers also go out to her for a speedy recovery. My wife is in the final stages of brain cancer so I can certainly relate to what her husband is going through. Godspeed Barbara.
