An arrest warrant has been issued for a Fort Johnson woman who failed to appear in court after she allegedly stole a purse at the Price Chopper supermarket on Ballston Avenue and almost hit a police officer with her car while trying to escape. Why after the chase, would they release her at all? It's hard to be sympathetic here. She ran a deputy into a ditch, drove recklessly through at least 3 counties, and stopped only when forced off the road herself.
